Refreshing Snack Ideas

As the seasons change and the weather gets warmer, this can be a great time to explore some different snack ideas. Especially things that are cold in temperature, as these might feel more satisfying; think a refreshing snack on a warm, sunny day!
Some common cold snacks include: smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream, raw fruit or veggies, and yogurt.
However, if you want to get a bit more creative with some snack options, here are some ideas:
Shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce
Caprese skewers - prep ahead of time on a skewer with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls and fresh basil or can drizzle pesto over it. Balsamic glaze is also great to drizzle/dip
Fresh veggie or shrimp spring rolls with a peanut or sweet chili sauce
Cucumber bites with cream cheese and smoked salmon or deli meat
Bananas dipped in chocolate with toppings of your choice such as nuts or shredded coconut, freeze before enjoying
Deviled eggs
Deli meat roll ups - use a wrap or tortilla of your choice, plus your favorite deli meat, cheese and condiments. Slice into rounds and serve directly from the fridge
Apple “nachos” - Chill apple slices and top with a yogurt drizzle, mini chocolate chips, and granola
Antipasto skewers - similar to the caprese skewers above but with some different iterations on the ingredients such as an Italian cheese (provolone or mozzarella, for example), salami cubes and artichoke hearts and/or olives
